delete whole folder on gmail

hello there,
Is there any way how to delete all contents of folder on gmail?
I'm speaking mainly about spam folder.
I didn't find any such thing, how to do this.

I was wondering the same thing, since there doesn't seem to be a way to empty the trash without checking all the boxes on the messages you want to delete. I'm sure there has to be a way to do it though.
